CYCLING IS OFTEN CITED AS THE SEVENTH MOST POPULAR RECREATIONAL ACTIVITYIN THE U.S.; BEHIND EXERCISE WALKING, SWIMMING, CAMPING, FISHING AND EXERCISING WITH EQUIPMENT AND BOWLING

Lifetime Bikes Racing is a competitive cycling team based in Northern Georgia, founded in early 2009, and comprised of a total of 23 active team members which include (8 elite and 15 supportive) race members, the team just completed its third season of racing in the southeast region, participating in over 30 events between February and November throughout the state of Georgia.

Team Mission Statement

Our goal is to establish one of the strongest amateur cycling teams in Georgia, and provide positive exposure for our sponsors while supporting the growth of cycling and promoting community involvement.

Lifetime Bikes Racing was founded in order to:

• Promote cycling in the Atlanta Metro area by providing cyclists with an inclusive team environment in which to train and compete.
• Support all team members (male, female, and masters) to perform competitively and achieve their goals.
• Develop positive ties between cycling and the local community through involvement in local events.
• Maintain the tradition of sportsmanship that is a hallmark of competitive cycling, and to personify cycling’s positive attributes on the road and in the community.

Bringing together accomplished cyclists and athletes from across the Atlanta metro area.

The majority of our committed riders come from the Atlanta metro area and are accomplished cyclists with a desire for competition. They arrive from all walks of life from teachers to entrepreneurs. Riders range from teens to over sixties years in age. In 2012 we will be entering the women’s racing division.

Our team is in training year round and competing in events 10-months out of the year.
